CONSTRUCTION AND FABRICATION OF A MOBILE CASSAVA GRATER

Due to the daily consumption and processing of cassava tuber there is need for a hygienic processing of this commodity. This project is meant to meet the desired requirement of home and small scale cassava grinding process for it to be hygienic and properly monitored to give satisfaction some of the things put into consideration during the course of this project is that the machine should, be portable, movable (mobile, cost efficient and last long compared to the ones sold or made locally in the market. Due to the acidic nature of grinded cassava, there is need to use materials that are strong and not easily destroyed by the chemical content of the cassava tuber. The mobile cassava grater consist of major parts namely, the hopper/receptacle through which cassava is admitted into the machine for grating.
