DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF WEBPAGE PHISHING DETECTION SYSTEM USING MACHINE LEARNING

This research was based on webpage phishing detection for detection of malicious websites. This research work is done with the integration of several criteria that have been used to detect phishing sites in the past and the results obtained from the test shows that the developed system can detect phishing URLs though not100% but at least 94%. The programming tools used for this system design areASP.Net, C#.Net, Cascading Style Sheet, and JavaScript. The C#.Net was used for the frontend design, the Cascading Style Sheet was used for styling the site while JavaScript and Code Behind was used for the security measures.
