DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF WEBSITE SECURITY ANALYSIS SYSTEM USING SECURED SOCKET LAYER (SSL)
ABSTRACT/DESCRIPTION
The aim of this project is to Design and Implement a Web Security analysis system using SSL Security (HTTPS) and the Objective of the project is to develop a system that will secure data communication between web pages using Secure Socket Layer for encryption that will be communicate over the network so that the system user can ensure Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability, provide a system where data can be seen and access by authorized user using SSL and the benefit of the software is to ensure that users should be able to scan the security of any website before transferring sensitive data over that site. The proposed system will check for site vulnerability, SSL credentials, host provider, X506Certificate e.t.c and process the scanned results accordingly. The Methodology adopted for the project work is Rapid Application Development (RAD) Model which follows incremental development process, encourages communication clear-with the goal of expediting the development cycle. RAD avoids extensive pre-planning, generally allowing software to be written much faster and making it easier to change requirements.
