THE IMPACT OF EFFECTIVE PLANNING ON THE GROWTH OF NIGERIA COMPANY(A CASE STUDY OF DELTA STEEL COMPANY OVWIAN ALADJA)

This study, the impact of effective planning on the growth of Nigeria companies (a case study of Delta Steel Company, Ovwian Aladja) is carried out to highlight the problem of effective planning in Nigeria companies. This study is also carried to proffer solution to existing problem of planning in Nigeria companies as it affects the growth of such companies. In carrying out this research, factors such as (i) manpower planning (ii) job analysis (job description and specification) (iii) personnel recruitment and management were considered as it help in the growth of an organisation. This study found solution to problem like effective planning in an organisation and also it was discovered that one of the problem confronting management in any organisation is the most effective way of matching people with job. The samples size was selected and the method of data analysis was used to select the number. This study was concluded with the following findings that the managerial role is to manage planning effectively. This stems from the fact that the degree of which an organisation succeeds depends largely on how effective the means or techniques for managing planning are.
