Hi. Welcome to Emmason247. Today I want to talk about some important things about Python as a programming language.
So in the python series, I remember mentioning that I will be writing about python from time to time as we go on.

So this article is about a few facts about python. If you want to know where the language got it's weird name from,

Python is a language which is interpreted at runtime. Unlike in compiled languages, the python interpreter actually executes codes before sending the result to the target machine.

Python is very effective in writing web server codes. There are many frameworks that are available for building web applications using the Language.
It is about which one of them you choose. Examples include Django, Flask and Bottle.
I'll be honest here. Python is not a native language for mobile development but it is still possible to use it in developing mobile applications.
With the use of frameworks like BeeWare and Kivy, cross platform applications can be developed in Python.
Python is a very very case sensitive language. What it means is that the three variables below are not the same at all.
Variable 1:
Age = 20
Variable 2:
age = 20
Variable 3:
aGe = 20
If you give a lower case or upper case identifier or name to a variable, function or class, you have to stick to that in subsequent uses.
Python has maximum support for object oriented programming. With the use of Python classes and functions we can be able to easily encapsulate the properties and actions or methods of any object at all.

Python code is 100% platform independent. Whether you are on Windows, Linux or Mac operating system, Python code will still run very much as expected.
Python has become one of the most popular programming languages in recent times.
According to PYPL ( Popularity of Programming Languages ), Python is the most used programming language in 2020.
Some of the popular companies that use python include Google, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Amazon, Quora, Netflix and much more.
Fun Fact: Did you know that Instagram was created in a python framework?
Remember those multiple, confusing looking curly braces used to group code in languages like C, JavaScript and C++?
No need for them in Python. With simple indentations, we can group our code together.
I remain Isaiah Ozadhe and I write regularly on programming and tech in very simple terms on Emmason247.
